***Q&A with Eve Elliot***

What inspired you to create this podcast?

I’m a writer and professional voiceover artist, but at one time I was on the path to medical school. My fascination with medicine and my love of history, literature, and art seemed very disparate at first, until I discovered the wonderful world of medical humanities. I love delving into the medical aspects of historical events and figures, or how medical science often intersects with art and literature.

How long did it take you to make the podcast?

Each episode takes several days to research, write, and produce.  My average is about a week from start to finish, although some episodes can take much longer, depending on the amount of research involved.

What are some of your other projects?

I am currently completing a romance novel with the help of Patreon supporters (at patreon.com/eve_elliot) and I also create and record soothing comfort audios to help listeners relax, de-stress and sleep, narrate gentle audiobooks like Emma, by Jane Austen, and perform classic short stories (at patreon.com/evesgardencomfortaudio)

Where can listeners learn more about you?

I can be found on my podcasts: The Medical Humanities Podcast, Eve’s Garden Comfort Audio and Stories in Sound.  I’m also on YouTube, Twitter (@EveElliot3), Instagram (@Authoreveelliot), or my website (eveelliot.com).
